Pear Shaped Green Idiocrase Silver and Gold Stacking Ring
Pear shaped cabochons are so elegant. This glowing green idiocrase, also known as vesuvianite, is set in 18 ct gold on a 4 mm silver band. If added to a stack of rings, it gives the collection a lovely vertical direction to build the other stones around. Did you know that vesuvianite was first discovered at Mount Vesuvius? This stone has a few small inclusions, but really glows with light.
Great on its own or stacked up with other wide silver or gold bands, it can be added to a variety of gemstone rings, as pictured. See this helpful International ring chart to determine the correct size for you.
Made in my London studio, the ring is hallmarked with my maker's mark, silver, 18 ct gold, the year it was made and London. Made in UK size R or US 8 1/4, the 7 x 11 mm idiocrase cabochon set in 18 ct gold on a 3.75 mm wide silver band. The ring can be sized to your preferred fit, but please allow 2 weeks for the alterations.
