Blue Star Sapphire 18 ct Gold Ring

As non traditional engagement rings go, this stunning blue star sapphire with a gorgeous six point star is amazing in the sunlight. Sitting on top of one of my Modern Stacking Rings in 18 ct gold, this beautiful 10 mm round cabochon stone is a stunner! The band is narrower at the top where the stone sits and widens at the bottom to serve as a counterweight. The band goes measures from 1.65 - 4.25 mm, with the wider part at the bottom of the ring. Currently, the ring is a US size 8 1/4 or UK size P 1/2, but could be sized up or down slightly.
